# How do I cook my Trail Caterers meal?

## Rehydrating freeze dried food is as straightforward as it comes. We’re not oversimplifying things when we call them “just-add-hot-water meals.” Really—that’s all it takes!

Step 1: Heat water (or don't if you like cold food)

Step 2: Open pouch

Step 3: Pour in water

Step 4: Close pouch

Step 5: Check pouch label for how long the specific meal takes to cook

Step 6: Wait

Step 7: Open pouch

Step 8: Eat food
